okay, here's the thing - i absolutely adored my wedding. it was sweet, fun, and intimate, just how we wanted it. we had a picnic and lawn games and art - how could it not have been great?! of course, i was not able to do everything my heart desired since we have never owned a money tree {what were we thinking?}. still, for the most part, i was pretty psyched about how everything turned out.
but every once in a while, a wedding comes along that stops me dead in my tracks and makes me long to do it all over again. a wedding that makes me oh so sad i didn't have more time for planning. a wedding that makes me literally gasp out loud from the joyous energy it exudes!
this is exactly one of those sorts of weddings...
this is exactly one of those sorts of weddings...
a bicycle parade to their reception?!
super cute ice cream sandwiches with adorable menu coupons?!
silly, rockin, live music by their friends?!
a mini golf course mapping out their relationship?!
oh so fun!
but i suppose that's what you expect from a wedding that was coordinated by jordan ferney!

I know what you mean, you see a great idea from a wedding, and you go "why didn't I think of that". I would love to do it all again, it was just an amazing day, so if it wasn't so damn expensive I would do it all over again:)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! I LOVE it. Hmm.... How do I convince Noah to go non-traditional? It looks like so much fun and love is surrounding them instead of stress and plans. Why not make it a fun day to remember? Thanks for some great ideas Kim!
ReplyDeleteThat is some wedding! Very impressive that she wasn't worried about her dress! This just screams "carefree" to me. : )
ReplyDeleteI felt the same way when I saw these pictures. I never would have thought to plan my wedding like this...and it looks amazing!!
ReplyDeletethese photos scream fun... everything looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteOh, it's all too cute! I'd seen the first photo, but the rest of them I hadn't at all. A bicycle parade? Ice cream? Mini golf? Sign me up! I've been keeping track of inspirational ideas for my some-day wedding and versions of these are going on that list.
ReplyDeleteThose pictures are amazing and so cute!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is one seriously creative wedding!! Yep, would expect nothing less by the brilliant Jordan. This looks like it could have been your wedding too, Kim! The whole feel of it - fun, spontaneous, pure joy - just seems so like you (& your wedding!) :)
ReplyDeletewow! such amazing photos!

that looks so fun! If I was a better bike rider, that would totally be a rocking option. I love when people break the mold on the wedding traditions.
ReplyDeleteI just heard about this a few days ago, and bookmarked the page on my desktop because I didn't have time to read about it or look at all of the pictures, but how ridiculous, right? I don't necessarily need to "have" this wedding, but it would be fun to go to!
ReplyDeleteI saw this on Facebook! I loved every things they did! Love that they are LDS- to Eternity and Beyond for sure!
ReplyDeleteSO fun!! Maybe you can throw a 1 year bash and have games and a bicycle ride ;)
ReplyDeleteThese are so whimsical and adorable. As girly as I am, I don't really fantasize about my wedding (that is, if it ever happens, haha), mostly because I've been a bridesmaid so many times that the idea of having a big huge wedding stresses me out. But the weddings that have been the most fun are the ones like yours: low-key, not too fancy, family & friends, kind of modest.
ReplyDelete:)
addddorable idea!!!! love it!
ReplyDeleteThese photos are adorable!
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness, so awesome on so many levels! every time i think i've seen THE coolest wedding, another one comes along and blows it out of the water - love all these uber creative couples out there!

ReplyDeleteOh wow!!! I know what you mean, I loved my wedding but I wish I had seen this before I planned it!
ReplyDeleteGood luck on Saturday, I can't wait to hear how it goes :)
ps. I think you may have hit the nail on the head with the procrastination theory :p
This is indeed super cute, but so was yours, my dear. I love heartfelt weddings that really allow the personalities of the betrothed to shine through!
ReplyDeleteI want to be their friend, if only for the mini-golf fun.
ReplyDeleteYayayai! Thanks for this Kim..I love weddings !! and of course yours was magical..As if I was there too !!!
ReplyDeletePeople should hire you as their wedding planner !!
seriously, this is one of the coolest weddings ive ever seen! :D what a clever way to bike the "just married"
ReplyDeleteI think no matter how wonderful our own weddings may be, we'll ALWAYS see someone else's amazing idea and think "Man! I wish I had thought of that!"
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this wedding! It looks like it was such a blast...
What an awesome wedding and what BEAUTIFUL pictures! Awww, I love when a couple really infuses their personalities into their big day.
