this week i am super thankful for...
* art night with the mister.
* paychecks. seriously, how fun is it to get paid to do stuff?
* watching 3 baby phoebes learn to fly in our yard {bah! they're so cute!}.
* snagging an awesome dress at h&m for the low low price of $12!
* this song {see music player}. do you have to clean cat vomit out of the rug? are you in the midst of a massive fight with your partner? or maybe trying to figure out how exactly to squeeze into your skinny jeans which are clearly now 3 sizes too small? do yourself a favor, and press play below before carrying on. i guarantee everything will seem far more manageable in life. "but kim, is there any situation when this song wouldn't be helpful?" i'm glad you asked, the answer is no. it is always helpful. you are welcome:
* discovering short house {thanks to danni from oh, hello friend}. it's street style for all of us shorties!
{and just so you know, randy newman was a terrible person. short people rock!}
* you, yes YOU! you guys totally make each and every one of my days. you are all so
helpful, encouraging, and hi-larious! thanks dear readers.
* if all goes according to plan, i'm going to hang at the beach tomorrow for the first time this summer! yay!!
what are you thankful for this week?
Art night sounds intriguing... My fiance and I love art, maybe we should take a leaf out of your book! And that beach is just gorgeous!

So happy to find you Kim! I am thankful for my kids and my niece and nephew. We are visiting them in sunny Charlotte and having such a great time. I am thankful for vacations. I am also thankful for my job. I sing and write songs for kids. How much more fun could that be? Yesterday we went into their preschool and they sang along with me the whole way in the car, during the performance, and back home. Priceless.
ReplyDeleteYou always make me Smile! I'm grateful for you!
ReplyDeleteI am thankful that I am finally able to leave things in the hands on Fate. Hopefully I won't be steered wrong.
ReplyDeleteI saw that short blog and I love it! Do you think she'll post regularly?
ReplyDeleteWhat I'm thankful right now? I wonderful husband who sings the craziest "I just made them up" songs in the morning, my friends, and the swarm of butterflies in my tummy.
The beach sounds lovely! Enjoy! :).

ReplyDeleteand i think i need to give that song a listen!
this is ridic, but my arms aren't that toned. they never have been, so i have avoided wearing sleeveless clothes in public for YEARS. and this summer is so damn hot that i am going sleeveless, consequences be damned. lol! it is very liberating and much cooler, and nobody really cares if your arms or body aren't perfect. yes, i am a dork, and sorry for the long/lame comment! lol
Art nights sound like the best idea ever! I might approach the boyfriend about that one!
ReplyDeleteI also scored a cute cheap dress in the H&M sale this week. I always get a bit carried away in their sale, but I practiced restraint and just got the one!
And a big big yay for paychecks!!!
x
