be still my heart!

i love everything about this sweet patisserie and delicatessen, tell tale society, from {where else?} my
 dear san francisco.

if you join, each month you'll receive a package full of delectable, seasonal goodies, both savory & and sweet, all wrapped up in a burlap bag and hand-stamped boxes created by a local design company.  you can either pick it up in person if you live nearby, or have it shipped to you if you live in the US {i think they ship internationally as well, but you have to contact them for special instructions}.

plus, they have one of my favorite quotes ever on their website:
"those who dream by day are cognizant of many things that escape those who dream only at night."
 - edgar allan poe

maybe i can convince them to partner with me for my happiness truck?...

  2. Fabulous idea, and it would go perfectly with your happiness truck!

I feel as though I've been away for weeks, and it's only been a couple of days since my surgery. Sitting up in bed this afternoon, with a cup of tea and visiting my favourite blogs... yours is the first one I had to see!

I'm glad you got my little letter and that it was on your gratitude list yesterday. I wanted to send something funny, but at the time, it was all I could come up with!

I'll send something else soon. Got some fabulous stationery for my birthday!

Keep your chin up, darling girl. Things have GOT to get better soon. And in the meantime, enjoy wearing your sundress and eating ice cream! I'm in my flannel pajamas, under my duvet, looking out at a chilly grey day!
