well, it's monday again. the weekend flew by for me and was really not exciting at all since i was in class most of the time. and now the new week is here, which will be full of more class. but i have a friend coming at the end of this week, so i have something to look forward to!
also, since it's monday, i decided to play along with anna's much love monday and show you the invites i made. we decided since our wedding is only a couple months away, there was really no point in sending out save the dates and invites. so we made one little postcard with the website for our wedding. this was just a hand drawn card that i made with faber-castell artist pens and colored pencils. we scanned it in and just printed them off our selves! super cheap and easy. but also very representative of us, because over the course of our knowing each other, i would make dannon little drawings and comics that were silly and fun. i love how they came out and i love not subscribing to the idea that you have to spend large amounts of money on a wedding!
all the writing on the back of the postcard is typed up in my own handwriting. i used the website your fonts about a year ago to create my own handwriting font. it was free back when i did it, but i think now you have to pay a small fee. it came in super handy for typing up 50 postcards!
so there you have it.
what are you loving today?
