the simple things.

Have you notice the "simple things" lists popping up around the blogosphere lately? Soul Aperture is donating $1 to Doctors Without Borders for each blog that creates a "simple things" post. How lovely is that?! So I thought today I would post my own favorite simple things to help out.

the cute little noise chloe cat makes when she yawns
clean sheets
cracking the top of the creme brulee
peeling the white stuff off orange slices
the feeling of knitting needles sliding against each other
how my skin feels after rinsing a face mask off
twinkly lights
snuggling
using your own shower after a trip away from home
waking up to a little fluffball curled up beside me
hearing the perfect song in the perfect moment
the smell of eucalyptus trees early in the morning
yarn
the cold feeling just as the sun comes up, but sensing a warm day coming on
wearing a new dress/shoes/jewelry/etc. for the first time
eating berries straight off the bush
friendly dogs who say hello on the sidewalk
street musicians
stopping to talk to my elderly neighbor who waxes his car late at night whilst listening to old jazz songs
When he makes me laugh


So there you have it! Simple, but Perfect.
