Gratitude

Boy oh boy am I glad for:
* Soup
* My awesome heater {combined with my teeny apartment}
* Not having to see my electric bill yet {poor me in a couple weeks!}
* Cuddling with my favorite person ever {yes, it's a boy...}
* An endless supply of Tea
* Warm woolen sweaters
* My bright green rain coat, my bright red umbrella, and my bright yellow galoshes! {especially when worn all at once}
* How much I'll celebrate sunshine when it finally comes out again!

And is it true? Is the sun really coming out tomorrow?! I sure hope so.
To all my California friends, hang in there. It's gotta stop some time, right?
Right?...

  1. It will stop, eventually! And in the meantime, just think of how lush and green everything will be as a result... (that's what I try to tell myself when we are knee-deep in rainy winter weather!)

    Love your red umbrella and yellow boots. Super cute. I have navy blue boots with hot pink and lime green polka-dots on them. Love. I enjoy puddle splashing so much more in those boots.

    Enjoy your soup, tea and warm woolen sweaters. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that tomorrow will be a bright, sunshiney California kind of day!

  3. This post reminds me of how much I need some cute rain boots! I always put off buying them, and then it rains and I WISH I had them. Yours are so cute!

  4. I think we should do a house swap: you can come live in Scotland and I'll go live in California for a week! It sounds like you'd be well prepared for Scottish weather!! xx

  6. Oh I hope it stops soon! I tried going to a small trip to Target and it's going to cost us fixing our wet brakes :P
