I thought I was the only one who hadn't seen (500) Days of Summer, but after my post yesterday, several people asked me how it was.So...
It was pretty much the best movie I've seen in a looooong time! It was amazing in so many ways. I think the people I know who didn't like it were expecting/hoping for a chick flick or a love story or a movie about Zooey Deschanel. But it's really a movie about Joseph Gordon-Levitt {who was a-mazing, by the way}, it's beautifully well done, and I thought every piece of the story line was something we can all related to, unlike most movies {where's my man racing to the airport to confess his undying love to me just as I'm putting my shoes on the conveyor belt?}, which is maybe why people didn't like it. I suppose if you're wanting a movie for more entertainment value, and not so much like real life, you may not like this one then. But if you don't mind a little deja vu and are open to all sorts of possibilities you'll probably like it, even the ending. As for me, I was captivated and adored every minute of it!

i love it!! from the soundtrack to his little sister, everything was adorable & so very heartbreakingly realistic!!

I haven't seen this one yet. I think I want to now. I laughed when I read the bit about the man dashing to the airport to proclaim his undying love!
