Fun Times in SoCal!

So this past weekend was the big wedding for our friend Nathan down in Southern California!

The festivities started Saturday night where we all hung out at a big coffee shop catching up with long lost friends,
listening to our friend Ivan in concert {I highly recommend checking out Ivan. He's a brilliant musician!},
and enjoying some pre-bachelor party events such as decorating the groom with a tiara and ball-and-chain {yup, that is a real bowling ball!}.
After we split from the boys, Felicia and I went for a swim in her pool. It has been years since I've been somewhere warm enough to swim at night!

The wedding was Sunday in a beautiful little wooded area up in the San Bernardino hills.
Dannon was the handsomest groomsman at the wedding!
The reception went well into the evening with periodic Deep Thoughts by Jack Handy {specially picked for the happy couple} and some very fun swing dancing! {For those of you who follow this blog, you'll be happy to know that dress and my cute Target shoes worked perfectly for swing dancing!}
Dannon, Larry and I spent Sunday night in Pasadena with some of my favorite people in the world - Brian and Brianne! They took us to this great little breakfast place with delicious mini cupcakes!
After that we drove home and I've been going non-stop with school and work since then!
Phew!
One could accurately describe the weekend as "whirlwind," but it was all worth it!

  1. Glad you had fun! You know, I forget how tiny you are...then I see you in the pic with Dannon, and you are obviously standing on a step....but you still look so tiny! Cute!
