my life is finally complete!!

you are now looking at the new weekend therapist for a beautiful residential facility serving individuals with eating disorders.  i am over the moon with excitement!  part of my schedule includes working saturdays from 3:30-11:30p, which isn't the ideal situation, but i totally don't care!  i have waited so long for an internship, have wanted a position at this location so badly, and am so interested in working with this population that i am happy to work whatever schedule they have for me.  besides, i always knew that a night/weekend schedule was likely working in a health profession {all my friends who are doctors and nurses have welcomed me into the "crazy schedule" club}.  and the best part?  it's PAID!! yes i landed the elusive paid internship at a clinic which has amazing continuing educational opportunities, room for growth, and is close to home.  i get to drive up into a super cute small town in the hills just above LA... and i pass by a target, h&m, and whole foods along the way.  yup, perfect in every way!

 i feel truly honored that of all the applicants they chose me, and i'm so thankful for all of your well-wishes, crossed fingers and toes, and positive vibes during my interview last week {and over the course of all these months while i've been searching}.

those of you who have been dear friends and readers for the past year know how truly exciting this is for me, and what a very long, agonizing amount of time i have waited.  but it's finally here. everything is awesome and i can happily move on with my life.
