in 25 years

where will you be in 25 years? 

of course none of us can say for sure, but we all have our hopes.  during our 1 minute story interviews at the silver lake jubilee i had the pleasure of meeting pearl, the creative gal behind in 25 years.  this is one of the coolest projects i've seen lately and you can get involved too!

the idea is to record a message to yourself listing your hopes and dreams for your life 25 years from now.  pearl is in the process of finding a museum which will house these videos for everyone, and in 2035 {25 years from when this project was started} there will be a big party to view the videos and celebrate all that has happened between now and then.  isn't that beautiful?!

    Oh, I can not even imagine what I'll be doing in 25 years. I have a few ideas or hopes but nothing solid. I really should get some long-term goals!

    Twenty five years is so far into the future! I don't even know what I would tell myself in 5 months. Right now, I'm focusing on this moment and trying not to look or think too far ahead.

    this is such a great idea!

    i had a psychology class in high school and the teacher had us write a letter to ourselves in which we listed the goals, hopes and dreams we had hoped to achieve 10 years down the road. and he mailed the letters to us 10 years later. i cracked up when i read mine, as my goal was to have a boyfriend with long hair. BAH! and i did. HHAAHHAHAHAHAH!

    In 25 years, most importantly, I hope that I'm happy and at least a handful of my dreams will have been completed. Love this project idea! Reminds me of the letters we wrote in school to our future selves (that I never got!), ha!

    I don't know where I'll be in ONE year let alone 25, but what an intriguing question to think about! These videos are so sweet - I love hearing everyone's hopes and dreams for the future :-)

    now you made me think what/where i'll be 25 years from now! that's some quite to ponder about! :)

    In ALL honesty...I don't really want to think about what age I will be then, BUT I do want to have kids, family, a nice job that I love and well, being able to travel the world as well and having lots of adventures!

    Basically doing what I think would make my life worth while! :D

    This is such a neat idea! I'm so glad you found it. I'm not sure I could nail down one plan - I've got like 4,598 dreams!
