success!

yup, we're home after a long, and very hot, trip to l.a. and we found our new home!! we spent several days looking at apartment after apartment and finally found one that we are both super excited about - and in a super cute neighborhood!

so in two weeks, we'll be moving down to echo park, a little l.a. neighborhood bordering downtown l.a., silverlake, the dodger's stadium, and super close to hollywood, los feliz, and griffith park. it's still being gentrified so there's still a lot of character, but also some cute/trendy shops, restaurants, and coffee shops. random fun fact about echo park: it's where they filmed thriller! i know, way cool. :)

our little home is small, but really modern and beautiful. it's up on a palm tree lined street on a hill and we can see the hollywood sign from it.
this is our beautiful gate and what's behind that hedge?
why this super private front courtyard where we can plant a garden and put our dining room! we're so excited to finally live in a place where we can hang out outside pretty much every day of the year.
we also have a cute little back porch and a meyer lemon tree! here are a few other random shots from our new home:
we're so excited about our new home and our new adventure! in a couple weeks everything will change - new house, new city, new jobs, new everything! but we're ready.
