friday.

{photo found here}

on my last day with her, my 10 year old client informed me that the kids these days call flirting "cupcaking." how cute is that?!

this post is going to be pretty random because it's early and i just had to wake up at 7am to say goodbye to dannon for the weekend. {he'll be down in the l.a. area for his brother's graduation from medical school.} i'm not sure exactly what i'll be doing to fill my time. {in the past whenever dannon went on trips, i've been known to eat large amounts of macaroni and cheese, go on shopping sprees, and attend bars that light their counters on fire whilst everyone sings "f**k her gently."}

but i think tomorrow i'll check out the etsy sampler, and on sunday i'll hang out with my friend andrea. maybe i'll check out the haight street fair, maybe i'll go get some special breakfast ice cream {vanilla, corn flakes, jim beam - amazing!}, maybe i'll find some pretty fabric for making picnic blankets and pillows for the wedding. anyone know of really great online fabric stores?

for now i'm just enjoying my early morning with blogs and tea and wonderground radio.

what are you up to this weekend?

  1. sounds great! My friend would love to hear a rendition of "F**k her gently" if he could, he loves Jack Black. :)

    Is that true about "cupcaking"? That is so awesome, I'll definitely start calling it that!

    Hmm.... this weekend is the first time that my boyfriend will actually come to my town to stay a weekend since school let out in early may so I'm pretty excited! Not too many plans yet although hopefully a Nicholas Sparks movie!

  2. That bar sounds amazing:) It really sounds like it would be a lot of fun, but making plans for the wedding sounds really exciting too.
    Whatever you end up doing, I hope you have a funfilled weekend.
