The Edwardian Ball

Saturday night Dannon, his roommate, and I went to The Edwardian Ball - "Edwardian" as in Edward Gorey, one of our favorite authors. It was such an amazing night full of sensory overload. There was ballroom dancing, a museum of Edward Gorey-ish art, a very Burning Man-ish bazaar, a croquet garden, amazing music by Rosin Coven, random circus acts, a steam-powered tea garden, a violinist on stilts, an old-timey photo booth, a live performance of Gorey's "The Evil Garden," and the most amazing costumes I've ever seen! We partook in the festivities, but often found ourselves staring, mouths gaping wide, taking it all in.
It. Was. Awesome!

These were the only two pictures I took because my little camera just couldn't measure up to the lighting.
Dannon & I sitting on a steam-powered motorbike.

Dannon taking in a game of croquet - a fine chap indeed!

And the rest of these pictures I totally procured from here:
