Christmas Time Is Here

This weekend was pretty quiet since I was still feeling sick and trying to preserve energy for my final week of school. But I did get in touch with a little bit of Holiday Spirit,... finally. I pulled out the ole Christmas decorations and decked the halls, ... well, the underside of my loft bed, but you know.
My favorite part is the Felt Christmas tree I made last year as an inexpensive, creative solution to decorating a teeny apartment with an empty wallet. It turned out so cute, I think I'll use it for many more years!
I also listened to this awesome Christmas Music Playlist over on Here's Lookin At Me Kid. This is a fantastic compilation and while I was listening I actually got a wee bit excited about the Holidays!

I have to admit, I want to care about the most wonderful time of the year, but I just don't. So this weekend I tried really hard to be less Grinchy and embrace the Holiday. And in the next couple weeks I'm going to try a little extra to focus on some Christmasy things for further inspiration. So there.
{Okay, I'm still working on it.}

ps - I was tagged to do a list of 7 Things About Me by Camilla from Champagne Bubbles, so stay tuned for that.

  3. I am soooo in the holiday mood! I decorate every room in the house with a little something for the holidays. All the kids have their own trees in their rooms, I have a 3 foot one in the kitchen with all their handmade ornaments from over the years, and a big tree in the living room with a nature theme. There's a nativity scene, ivy, berries, and pine boughs, candles, and more. I even have a little something in the bathroom! Now thats decking the halls....hmmm, but I guess you really did decorate your entire house too, huh?

  4. The funny thing is that your apartment always reminds me of Christmas, probably because my first Christmas in SF was spent there, along with my first real memories of SF.
