romantic food

scones, with fresh preserves and clotted cream.

fresh baguettes with herbed goat cheese, {fake} meat, and veggies.

savory breakfast tartlets.

fruit, crackers, and various fancy cheeses.

quinoa with grilled veggies, feta, & tofu.

tea, lemonade, and a bottle of wine.

if you follow me on twitter, you may remember my call for romantic food ideas.  for our getaway up the coast in a few weeks, the mister and i will be fairly secluded from civilization.  we won't be eating out at restaurants, but we also won't have a full kitchen to work with in the cabin.  that means we'll need to take food with us which is easy to prepare and i don't want just any ole boring food.  no, i'm determined to make our
menu just as romantic as stargazing over the ocean {which we will definitely be enjoying!}.

any other favorite romantic foods?

ps - i just so happen to have a delicious recipe for the savory breakfast tartlets,
which i will share here in the coming week.

  2. um, YUM! they all look delicious! i love salads...and i saw a post on fresh salsa. so...i'm thinking a lot of fresh veggies, chopped into big chunks, then dressed with either olive oil/lemon + feta for the greek, OR salt/peppered/herbed for salsa + chips!
