I am so excited about today! I got to sleep in late, I'll be heading to Target and the craft store soon {those are big excursions when you live in SF}, I'll have an entire afternoon devoted to hand-making christmas gifts, and tonight I'll be heading over to a beautiful home for our monthly Bread & Jam - dinner and music-making with Second Wind. Tonight's Bread & Jam will be all christmas carols so it's a special one.
Thanks for everyone's kind words this week during my Scroogy-Grinchiness! I'm still not super excited about it, but now that school and work are completely over and I can spend the weekend making things, I'm a little more happy about the holidays.
So what am I thankful for?
* All the things I've mentioned above!
* Learning when to say no to things for my own sanity.
* That both Dannon and I are now healthy {just in time for traveling and consuming sugar!}
* Knitting {especially during stressful times}!

ReplyDeleteoh so true abut treks to target! suburb people can just pop in to one anytime but we have to plan for it.
